This home in Bulimba was built on a 300 square metre allotment backing onto a local golf course.  It was a rewarding challenge to come up with a design that best utilised the small lot, the outlook over the golf course and out to Hamilton Hill.

The design incorporated an open plan living area flowing out to an earthy and warm feeling courtyard of sandstone crazy paving complimented by a sandstone feature wall and striking bamboo.  Built for entertaining, the rear lower level optimises the outlook over the lush greens and the result is truly stunning  and met our clients brief of low maintenance.  There are 4 bedrooms and a family area upstairs with the master bedroom positioned at the rear to enjoy the fairway views.

A Development Approval (DA) was required to comply with the Small Lot Code (SLC) for this home as the land size was less than 400 m2, but the end result feels much larger than one would expect for such a small site.  The architectural and contemporary facade compliments the ever changing streetscapes of Bulimba.
